Our History

SymphonyHour.org was formed in 2019

Although relatively new our organization is passionate

about sharing the history and societal impact of classical music

Promoting learning about classical music is our primary mission

We strive to meet people where they are at whether its pops, proms, opera, or choral, or cantata we want to share the joy of music by hosting various events

In the Berkshires we mainly engage the community inside an economic opportunity zone where classical music is not well understood

In the Boston area we work with community partners to

promote our mission for sharing classical music free of charge when possible

SymphonyHour.org is an all-volunteer organization

Our board members receive no compensation

and are our main supporters

Any donation received is used exclusively for general operations

and wider community outreach

If you find yourself unable to attend an upcoming concert

consider donating your tickets to our organization

Your tickets will not go to waste

our volunteer team will find

a music enthusiast who appreciates such a gift

If you would like to volunteer your time to SymphonyHour.org

please see our contact page for details

Our goals are to bring good music to those who don't know
